Celeste is a 24 year old based in Toronto, Canada working as an apprentice Masonry. She is currently employed at Arcana Restoration Ltd, where they specialises in the highest restoration in quality of heritage conservation and preservation work.
It's so amazing seeing woman work in brick and stone masonry like Celeste, watching her strongly bring back to life traditional architectural sights. Celeste stated it's great to be able to learn about history and incorporate it into maintaining the building's heritage while restoring it.
She has been Nominated for the ACO NextGen Award for her exceptional work which allows pathways for women to follow.
“We are restoring buildings that are over 100 years old”
After learning the fundamentals of bricklaying she then moved onto commercial restoration and now doing heritheri buildings. In Celeste's bright future she plans to start her own masonry restoration company.
It is so amazing seeing woman progress through trades of this nature, making waves for other woman to follow. In doing so she has been noticed by the german company Stabila and is apart of the True Pro Ladies 2022 team. The company campaigns for female tradespeople in the construction industry sector worldwide.
