Jenny

A.K.A the committed builder

Certificated Builder 🧱

Meet Jenny from Utah, America a woman of many trades is an understatement. Being a co-owner of Crozier Construction Services LLC where she does it all from concrete, excavation, drywall, framing, roofing, painting, finish work, flooring, you want it, she can deliver.

Jenny has always been interested in tools and creating things from a young age. When she had that lightbulb moment of I'm not just "crafty" I'm "skilled" it was a game changer for her. Jenny started to really enjoy the power of running big equipment along with the power and control that connected with it.

Gaining alot of confidence Jenny went to rent an excavator for a job one day and they didn't want to rent it to her, they wanted to rent it to her husband. This really got under her skin (offcourse it would and also what a shit feeling), so Jenny started looking for certification programs to prove on paper (and to EVERYONE else) that she did in fact have the skills necessary to handle machinery. Side note here people, hats off to Jenny for not just crumbling when she was told this and getting the guts to say no I will and can do this. What curage that took in a small town too. So with the help of Jenny's awesome husband, 3 kids, and a cool professor she has been certified as the first female, but to continue my trades education.

I'm from a small town the size of a peanut, so to be recognized for my hard work is just so amazing and I'm just so humbled and honoured

It took along time, hard work and determination to progress up the ladder to Jenny's position and had to convince others being a woman won't hold her back. I love this kick ass approach because if she just went along with that mindset and blokes telling her 'you can't' who knows where Jenny would be.

“People telling me I cant, just helps me push harder and SHOW that I can.

This progression of strong woman allows break throughs in the male dominated trade field like this, and shows other woman you can do. GO JENNY!

Jenny works with the local College and the community to help more women and kids into the trades.

I am passionate about this industry! I was in the Mrs. Utah pageant with the platform of "helping women build the doors they walk through".

Showing that you don't have to wait for someone to open the door...build your own dang door!

With all of Jennys hard work she is getting noticed and rewarded for it. In a couple weeks she will receive the 'Women Builders Council 2022 Outstanding Women' award at their 17th annual awards gala in NYC and she is over the moon with the honour! She is also up for 'Tradeswomen of the Year' with the organisation 'Empowering Women in Industry' with the awards being next month in New Orleans.

Great job Jenny and can't wait to follow your journey.
