Strong woman 🇦🇺

Meet Red, an extremely inspirational woman whom has put her skills into a career of strength. Im delighted to illustrate a woman in a fun new genre to me, as my usual go too's consist of woman on job sites. Initially Red started her weight loss journey with cardio then discovered a love for heavy lifting, competing in CrossFit and later powerlifting before moving over to Strongwoman.

Red's accolades includes 1st placement at the masters weightlifting national championships, winning three national titles, a QLD state title, competing at competitions like USS women’s world pro and the Arnolds in South Africa and lifting the Dinnie stones.

“I am so chuffed to announce I am the 9th woman in the world to lift the famous Dinnie Stones in Scotland weighing a combined weight of 332kg!!!This means more to me than winning any title or breaking records… it is by far the biggest feat of strength I’ve done!

Outside of all this, she is a Registered Nurse with a master's degree in mental health. She supports veterans with complex needs and also works part-time in the Army reserves as a nursing officer.

“It is great to see women achieve something they never thought possible with some positive coaching in a relaxed environment. Mindset component contributes to helping women build resilience to hardships, set goals and break down stereotypes.””

Red is also involved in 'Sisters in Strength'. A workshop that aims to impact women of all ages and skill levels to help empower and encourage them to try a different style of strength training.
